In spring, the Pink Floyd co-founder (“Wish You Were Here”, “Another Brick in the Wall”) is going on a European tour – six concerts are planned in Germany, and the English musician wants to perform in Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena in May. Because of his political statements, there were already calls for the German concerts to be canceled in the autumn. On Tuesday, the German-Israeli Society Berlin and Brandenburg (DIG) appealed directly to the concert organizer and the Mercedes-Benz Arena to cancel the Berlin performances.
