Sarah Silverman shares a laugh with pal Annie Segal during her nightly salute to NYC's healthcare workers

Sarah Silverman and assistant her Annie Segal shared a laugh, as they returned to her fire escape to salute frontline healthcare workers on Friday.

The New Hampshire-born brunette, 49, cut a cool figure in a pair of camouflage pants, which she paired with a red baseball cap and white t-shirt that read: 'Love Your Mother.'

The duo, who have been banging on pans and cheering for essential workers since mid-March, could be heard yelling out with appreciation at exactly 7 p.m. ET.

Segal looked cheerful in coordinating green trousers, a white t-shirt and a pair of tongs in her hands. 

As of Friday, there have been nearly 360K confirmed COVID-19 cases in New York City leading to over 23,282 deaths - according to the NY Times

'Everyday at 7pm in nyc, people open their window or stand on their fire escapes and bang pots and pans and howl and cheer on appreciation for our health care workers, grocery store workers, and delivery people,' the 49-year-old comedian - who boasts 15.5M social media followers - explained back on April 7.

She added: 'It makes us feel connected and that we aren't alone. I live for ever 7-7:03pm.' 

Two-time Emmy-winning writer, who is the author Bedwetter, wrapped filming on a rom-com shortly before the COVID-19 crisis began. 

Marry Me, with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez, was set for release this year but with Hollywood production and movie theatres shut down, it's unknown when it will come out.
