The stars of Anne Hathaway's latest flick The Idea of You have stepped out for a glamorous premiere screening in New York.

The film follows the love story of a single mum who falls for the lead singer of a boy band, based on the 2017 book of the same name.

Not only does Hathaway star as the film's lead, but she has also been credited as a producer.

It was Anne Hathaway's night to shine!

The actress, who is also a producer on The Idea of You, proved her style is as flawless as ever in a strapless red Versace gown with a high leg slit and cutout details.

The rom-com icon walked the purple carpet at the Lincoln Center in the skin-tight red dress, showing of a scalloped low back design.

Hathaway paired her chic look with soft glam and a stylish high ponytail to show off her on-trend bangs.

For her accessories, the actress opted to colour contrast to her dress with a pair of green statement earrings.
