Anna McKinley

Anna “Pearl” McKinley died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. She was born at Camp, Arkansas, March 25, 1925. She was born the 8th child of 13 children to Lewis and Olive Conrad Reeves.

Pearl moved to the Toledo/Traer area where she met her husband, Allen McKinley. They were married February 13, 1942. The couple had four children: Ann McKinley, Jean (Larry) Vest, Victor (Mary) McKinley and David (Pam) McKinley, all of Traer. She had many nieces and nephews as well as many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.

Pearl was the perfect farm wife in every way. She dearly loved her family, and she was loved by all. In her later years, she loved to sit on the porch and wave to all the vehicles that went by, while wearing her favorite hat.

Pearl is preceded in death by her husband; grandson Lanny Vest; seven sisters: Eva Reeves, Fern Brubaker, Grace McKinley, Fanny Reeves, Mary McKinley, Rosella Reeves and Jean Randall; three brothers: Louis, Roy and Russell Reeves and three sisters-in-law.

Pearl is survived by her children and two sisters, Georgia Eibey, of Shell Rock, and Rose Swanson, of Mt Vernon.

Pearl loved the lord dearly and was ready to go home to the Lord.
