Nicole Derick Jones is a Native of Marietta, Georgia
It was on January 11 1977 that Nicole Derick Jones was born to her parents and she’s 47 years old at the moment. From the records, she was raised in Marietta, Georgia.
While not so much is known about her early life and family background. We garnered that she shares a close relationship with her father Joey Derick which she often posts on Father’s Day as well as her mother. Information about her other family members isn’t known and it is difficult to assert if she’s the only child of her parents.
As for her education, she went to Pebblebrook high school, Mableton, Georgia, and graduated in 1995. However, she hasn’t disclosed other career pursuits.

Nicole works as an agent for the 30A Seascapes, a vacation rental with several properties. She previously worked as a fashion designer and was also involved in a number of fashion runways.
Asides from her career, The Georgia-born also get occupied with the duties of being a mother to her son as well as his support system. On several occasions, Nicole has been spotted cheering her son during his matches. She also keeps her fans engaged in his performance and achievements.
Nicole and her Husband were Married For Almost a Decade
As you would find, Nicole and Andruw were previously married. The former couple first met in 1998 at a mall in Atlanta and soon started dating. In 2002, the pair exchanged marital vows in the presence of their family and friends.
They maintained a great relationship that saw several ups and down but continued to be a strong couple. Unfortunately, in 2012, the pair got into a fight which brought an end to their marriage. As the story goes, Nicole had asked her husband to help her out in decorating their home for Christmas but it ended in a fight.
Nicole’s husband who was reportedly drunk grabbed by by the ankle and dragged her on the floor. Following that, he stood on top of her and started yelling “I want to kill you!”. Fortunately, she was able to push him away and went to her parent’s house. The report says that the police later arrived at their Sugarloaf Country Club home in Duluth and arrested Andruw for his behavior. However, he was released the same day after a bail of $2400 was paid.
A week after the incident, Nicole filed for divorce stating that their 10-year marriage has broken beyond any ground of reconciliation. She also requested joint legal and primary custody of their son as well as child support, alimony, and half of their property.
Not so much has been heard about the pair since they parted ways however, they get to show up to support their son’s career in the MBL.
Nicole Derick Jones is a Mother of One
Nicole and Andruw’s marriage produced a son Druw Jones who was born on November 28, 2003, in Atlanta Georgia and he’s 20 years old at the moment. Like his father, Druw also pursues a career in sports and is a baseball player with the Atlanta Braves.
As for his education, he completed high school at the Wesleyan School in Peachtree, Corner, Georgia, and recently graduated from Vanderbilt University.
Aside from Druw, Nicole is also the stepmother of Andruws’s daughter Madison Juliet Jones who is a product of his previous relationship. She was born on December 9, 1997, and she’s 26 years old at the moment. Madison’s biological mother Jackie Cornelius died when she was still a child. However, Nicole raised her with undivided love and attention that many sources even report that she is her birth mother.
Madison graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020 with a degree in business administration and she’s pursuing a career in New York City.
