Andriy Lunin's contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2025. After the Ukrainian's great season, Real Madrid have decided to offer him a renewal to extend and improve his contract. According to 'AS', the goalkeeper's renewal is imminent.
It is still unknown how many years Lunin will extend his stay in Madrid. The extension of the new contract is being negotiated, although, at the very least, he will remain at the Spanish club until 2028.
It should be remembered that he has changed agent and it is now Jorge Mendes who manages him. Real Madrid and the Portuguese agent seem to have ironed out their differences and negotiations are moving in the right direction.
The goalkeeper himself also had his doubts after seasons without being important in the 'Merengue' team. But the serious injury to Thibaut Courtois has opened the door to a starting place for him, once Kepa was no longer a rival.
Initially, Ancelotti relied on the Basque goalkeeper to safeguard the Spanish team's goal. However, an untimely physical setback to his competition placed the Ukrainian in the Santiago Bernabeu against Sporting Braga and that was the start of his rise.
