All hail Andrew Garfield, who has just been named one of GQ's Men Of The Year, and took his shirt off to celebrate. Sort of.
The Spider-Man and Tick Tick... Boom! actor is following in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston, who went viral after she posed topless for a magazine spread. Now, Andrew has got in on the action, in a series of pictures taken in the desert, wearing leather pants and no shirt. Very Ross from Friends.
"Presenting the sixth British GQ MOTY cover star: Andrew Garfield," the caption from the shoot reads. "Head to the link in bio to read the full interview by @pappademas and see all the photographs by @lukegilford. Styling by @michaeldarlington. #GQMOTY"
Other photos from the shoot show Andrew in a leather trench coat with matching black gloves, while in a third he wears a rain mac with yellow detailing. Understandably, fans have gone wild for the topless pics.
"He looks amazing!!!" one person wrote, while another put, "BEST SHOOT EVER?" Someone else said, I have the biggest crush on this dude." and "WELL DAMN." Further comments put:
- "🔥🔥🔥 damn"
- "WHAT THE HELLLLLLLL"
- "😍🔥❤Andrew Garfield 😍🔥❤"
And honestly, we agree.
In the interview, the 39-year-old actor opened up about how he's taking a break from the full on nature of his career, explaining, "I’m in a real period of not-doing. The usual aggressive, ambitious, driven heartbeat, rapping at the door has subsided for a while."
