After bringing a classic Disney Princess to life as the star of the upcoming Snow White remake, Rachel Zegler has her sights set on another iconic character. As teased on social media, Zegler seems to be taking on a well-known Shakespearean role for an upcoming project.

On her Instagram account, Zegler shared a cryptic image that featured the letter J, and the caption included emojis for a heart and a dagger. She also tagged the location as Verona, the Italian city that serves as the setting for William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Meanwhile, Heartstopper and His Dark Materials star Kit Connor shared a similar photo on his own Instagram account, but with the letter R. The two images read "R + J" when placed together, making the connection to Romeo and Juliet that much more apparent.

With these images all there are to go on as of this time, no details are yet known about the Romeo and Juliet project. It could be for a movie or series, or possibly a reimagining of the story through another form of entertainment, such as an audio drama or a stage play. More details will need to be divulged about how exactly it will happen, but it seems safe to presume that Connor and Zegler will be portraying Romeo and Juliet in some capacity.
