2021 Bowman Chrome Baseball Cards Checklist

Hey Trey , No need to reply to my last question about the 2021 Bowman Chrome Kevin Alcantara Atomic refractor BCP – 97 question . After further investigation , it came in the 2021 Bowman Baseball . So did all the Bowman Chrome Christopher Morel BCP – 131 cards . Sorry to bug you with a question that I should have figured out by myself .

Hey Trey , I am trying to find out about the 2021 Bowman Chrome 1st Bowman Kevin Alcantara Atomic Refractor ( non – auto ) card # BCP – 97 card . I can’t find any information about this specific card at all . I would really appreciate your help as I cannot find out anything about this specific card . Is it a counterfeit or what ? Any information would be really helpful .

The CPA-WH William Holmes 1st was not in your checklist.

Certainly better than Bowman with better autos and much fewer overall autos. But yes there are 14 gazillion different variations so not sure these are that rare. And like any other Bowman product it is a coin-flip at the end of the day on who will be the one(s) to emerge.

I don’t mean to be a review hog but there are some things about this set that I didn’t pay much attention to on my 1st review . I didn’t really pay attention to how many wave and shimmer and wave parellel cards are in the lineup for this set . Both of these two parellel cards are hard on the eye and are not desirable mainly because they don’t appreciate because of their distracting appearance .The sparkle cards are even worse . They look like some 8 yr. old girl rubbed the card with a glue stick and dumped glitter all over it . Really reaching in the artwork / design dept .Although I stated in my initial review of this set that it was nice to see the amount of insert cards reduced is , I neglected to notice the flood of insert auto’s and insert auto # d parellel cards which negates the reduction of insert cards in general . More and more parellel colors is a double – edged sword as well unless you like to chase rainbows .The only cards that are really worth going after are the Bowman 1st card prospects and Bowman 1st card prospect auto’s . Both , low # d parellel cards only .Keeping in mind that 90 % of the prospects won’t turn out to be any outstanding player anyway . Baseball card collecting used to be a fun hobby but it is turning into real big money pit mess .Between all the junk cards and the flipping going on , it’s best to just cherry pick on EBay when the cards 1st hit EBay market on auctions and outbid the multitude of EBay (pre owned ) flippers . That is of course , you like to pay many times more than the card is worth to begin with .Just my opinion but I’m sticking to it .

This product is always one of the best to crack each and every season. I love the game, so I really enjoy prospecting moving forward. A definite staple/blue chip product to purchase!

I really like the look and artwork of this year’s Bowman Chrome set . Nice visible border and really appreciate the overall look of the card . Glad to see that Topps cut down on the amount of insert cards . I wish they would have left the Prospect Auto’s out of the insert dept . though . I noticed that there is no chance of winning a free card though unless you forgot to print that microscopic information along with the odds for different parellel cards like last year .Did they tell you not to print that info Trey ? Very nice set of cards for 2021 Bowman Chrome this year .
