André Gomes, goalkeeper from Benfica's professional football squad, has been called up to the U-20 National Team, which will play two preparation matches this March, against Czechia and Denmark. Diogo Prioste, Hugo Félix and Nuno Félix, players from the Reds' B team, were also selected.

The Portuguese squad meets this Monday, March 18, at Cidade do Futebol, where they will hold a total of seven training sessions.

In between, the Portuguese team will face Czechia (at 3 pm on Thursday, March 21, at the Estádio José Gomes), finishing off with a clash with Denmark (at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 26, at the Estádio Nacional).

Preparation at Benfica Campus before traveling to France

In preparation for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Marseille, the squad trained at the Benfica Campus on Wednesday morning, April 17. Tomás Araújo and Juan Bernat, undergoing treatment and gym work, were the members of the squad who didn't make any progress on the pitch. Diogo Spencer e Adrian Bajrami, B team players Diogo Spencer and Adrian Bajrami took part in the training session.
