Andre Dede Ayew, the Black Stars’ captain, has stated that it would be incorrect for Ghana to compare its football accomplishments to those of Brazil.
Ayew thinks Ghana is not up to the elite level of the Brazilian team, despite the fact that Ghana has some talented players.
Despite having a talented team with players who represent some of the top clubs in the world, he claimed that the Black Stars would present the South Americans with a formidable battle in their friendly match.
“Brazil currently for me is the best in the world. So, we are playing the best and we have to acknowledge that they have players playing in the top clubs, week-in week-out, winning trophies,” Andre Ayew said at a pre-match press conference.
“We are not going to compare ourselves to them. That will be making mistake but we are going to challenge and go into the battle, that’s 100%.”
Prior to traveling to Spain to play Nicaragua on Tuesday, September 27, in Lorca, the Black Stars will play the five-time champions on Friday, September 23, in Le Harve, France.
Neymar, Vinicuis Jr., Firmino Antony, Raphinha, and more players in form are anticipated to start for Brazil against Ghana.
