About two months after vacationing in Bali, Indonesia in June 2022, Andi Eigenmann and her family flew to France in time for her fiancé Philmar Alipayo's 30th birthday, which falls on August 17.
The Siargao-based couple and their brood of three—Andi's eldest child Ellie and Andi and Philmar's kids Lilo and Koa—stayed in the coastal town of Hendaye in the French Basque Country.
"Walking around on our first morning in Hendaye," Andi wrote in the caption of her post with several photos of them strolling. "This Basque town is the first place on our travel bucket list. After four years and + 2 kids, we finally made it! Making the feeling even much sweeter."

Andi next shared photos of them hitting the beach at Plage d'Hendaye and this update: "It's been beach evenings for us over here in this Basque beach town. We've been loving the European summer weather and the 10PM sunsets. It offers more time to enjoy our surroundings, more time to rest in between, and more time to eat."
Andi and company are joined by a boy younger than Ellie but older than Lilo and Koa. The boy is a staple in Philmar's Instagram account as he is a son of the surfing champ. His name is Kanoa. Back in May 2022, Philmar said in a post that he'd be meeting up with Kanoa in France in August.
Based on Andi and Philmar's past posts, Andi—along with Ellie, Lilo, and Koa—met Kanoa, who's based in France, for the first time. It was a first for Philmar after a long time, that's why he has posts saying he misses his son, whose mother is an ex-girlfriend.
On Philmar's birthday, Andi greeted her fiancé, whom she calls Papa, in French. "Joyeux anniversaire, papa!," she wrote in her post.
She added, "I know how long you have been waiting for a chance to come back to France and I hope you're happy spending your birthday here, with all of us with you! It's inspiring to see you work to achieve your dreams, but always manage to keep us, the kids specially, a top priority."
She ended her post with a promise on behalf of their blended family: "We'll be here to support you all the way!"
For his part, Philmar simply said on his own birthday post: "Blessed and Thankful for this life."
