The YARD Marble & Granite

Very nice, helpful and Knowledgeable people working at The Yard. This was my second time buying my kitchen countertops with them. I got a gorgeous dolomite stone for my house. I would recommend them without hesitation. And Eswin for the install! He does excellent cutting and installation of fine stones.

Our fabricator friend sent us to The Yard to find the slabs we need for our kitchen renovation. When we got there, Wayne came out to greet us and asking what we are looking for. They have beautiful slabs of dolomite, quartzite, marble, etc. on display in the yard. Wayne is very knowledgeable and passionate about natural stones. He took the time to explain to us different types of materials and stones that'd be suitable for kitchen.

What's awesome is he has his own processing factory in Italy so he is able to control the quality of stones he is selling here in the US. Another great feature they have here is you are able to buy in half slab! Although we didn't find exactly what we are looking for at The Yard, Wayne was gracious enough to recommend a sealer for the quartzite we will be using in the kitchen. Overall a great experience at The Yard and with Wayne. I will definitely recommend my friends and families to come check The Yard when they need to look for slabs of natural stone.

Wayne is just the best - I gave him a budget and a photo of what I wanted (after missing out on another piece elsewhere I had my eyes on) and he ended up finding something I loved at first try. On budget!

There's tons of showrooms in Anaheim and many were good but in the end, I never felt that the people who helped me were interested in anything other than helping me choose something to make a sale. While I'm sure making a sale is important to Wayne, he doesn't approach it like that at all, you can tell he has an eye for finding pieces and really loves showing people the true beauty of each stone.

And the service! Wow! At a slab yard! Bottled water, umbrellas for shade, and just all around made the experience top notch. Not even fancy showrooms have these small touches that really make you feel appreciated. Definitely never looking anywhere else for future projects we do.

So excited to have our project finished now and see the final product with the pieces we chose here.

Finding just the right granite remnant is a tideous job. It takes time & patience, especially if you are looking for specific hard to find colors.
My brother & I were out picking up our floor tile for my 2nd bathroom & we stopped at this place to take a look & see if they had anything I could use for my vanity.
We were greeted by a very polite man named Ruben who gave us each a nice cold water bottle & went in & got April, the very sweet & extremely helpful salesgirl. I explained that I was looking for a granite, mostly green with a little pink if possible. I told her the size I needed. Ruben showed us every single piece of granite remnant in the size we needed & was very patient with me. The VERY LAST PIECE was it!!! I had seen a piece like it months ago while searching fir my first bathroom remodel (online), but figured I'd never see it in real life because it is very unique and certainly not for everyone.
Anyway, April & Ruben were both very kind, patient and helpful. The price was right & I bought it!

Remodeling a master bathroom and we wanted Quartz on the vanity top. I only needed a third of a slab and thank goodness I ran into The Yard. I had a good feeling about them from the beginning and the first set of quartz April showed me was the one. I quickly texted a picture to my wife and she agreed. Was happy with the price and the fact they could hang on to it until the following week when we would be ready for it.

Now to find a fabricator/installer. Called a couple places and got brushed off with the price or months of lead time. April recommended a nice man Enrique and he was able to pick up the stone, fab and install it right away for a great price. We are super happy and I wanted to take the time to let the world know.

If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. Wayne and April are very nice and helpful in the beginning to get a sale BUT beware because as soon as something goes wrong they will try everything in their power to avoid you. Our countertops cracked and it took years of trying to deal with them and they never ended up fixing them. We purchased our countertops in 2018 and they had sent someone out several times to "attempt" to fix the crack and all they tried to do was buff the crack out, they NEVER once offered to replace the cracked slab or replace our BRAND NEW countertops entirely, or even a refund/partial refund...NOTHING!!! They then proceeded to say the crack would be less visible if we went with the "honed" look for our marble which took all the shine out and our countertops look absolutely HORRIBLE, you can see every single tiny mark for ANYTHING that you ever place on the countertops. We finally took legal action and they avoided service and never responded. We won the court case but they have not paid the judgement amount. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!! (unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on new countertops only for them to crack and look like they are 100 years old.) WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO PAY THE COURT JUDGEMENT OR REPLACE OUR COUNTERTOPS OR PROVIDE A REFUND.

Way more expensive than their competition and they're unwilling to negotiate on pricing unless you spend over $10,000!
