Frigid Temperatures for Two-Thirds of the Country; Active Weather in the West; Heavy Rain in the South

Very cold air will continue to settle in across the Plains into the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys through tomorrow. In the west, an active weather pattern over the next few days will cause heavy mountain snow and heavy rainfall which could lead to localized flash flooding.
