Eric Deggans NPR The performances here are amazing. Cuba Gooding Jr. is a ball of angry narcissism playing Simpson, and Sarah Paulson brings a wounded humanity as prosecutor Marcia Clark, who faced sexist insults for her appearance and underestimated the impact of race. Nov 26, 2019 Full Review Deborah Ross Daily Mail (UK) The writing is sharp. It is blissfully directed, without a single wasted scene Rated: 4/5 Aug 31, 2017 Full Review Alison Herman Flavorwire Ryan Murphy is not a man in the business of biting off less than he can chew; when he decides to throw his hat in the preposterously overcrowded crime drama ring, he goes all in. Aug 10, 2017 Full Review Fiona Underhill JumpCut Online I would highly recommend these 10 hours of extraordinary TV, which makes for a great binge-watch. It includes some of the best acting I have seen this year, which deserves to be award-winning, and it is absolutely gripping. Rated: 4.5/5 Jul 1, 2020 Full Review Chris McCoy Memphis Flyer The protagonist's guilt or innocence is kind of beside the point. The show is about what happens when human nature meets mass media, a subject that is even more relevant today than it was back then. Jan 13, 2020 Full Review Rhys Tarling Isolated Nation These and the other hard-hitting minor keys ring out loudly and clearly amidst the unseemly, undeniably compelling gladiatorial spectacle, and what elevates The People v OJ Simpson to the level of a masterpiece. Chuck D With a pretty solid cast and some of the best cinematography on TV the show delivers an entertaining bite of American history. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/24 Full Review Ricardo M Although some stuff is not really necessary, in general this is a great way to portrait the famous OJ scandal. Great acting and great script. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Lukas-Jeremie K American Crime Story is an American anthology series from FX and acts as a sister series to America Horror Story. Accordingly, each season revolves around a completed criminal case that has caused a stir in recent decades. The format was created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. "American Crime Story" shows really interesting cases in the first two seasons, which are presented really well with excellent actors and good storytelling. The series has real binge-watching potential for every crime thriller fan. I didn't see Season 3 because the case didn't sound that interesting to me right now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This was one of the best anthology series I have ever seen. The writing and plot was strong, but the acting was OUTSTANDING. My favorite character was Johnnie Cochran, his acting was intense. I also enjoyed how close the actors looked to the people they were trying to portray. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Just plain fantastic. Everyone played there characters very well and acurateley except for Cuba Gooding Jr. who acted well, just not as Oj. I especially liked David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian. Eventhough much is obviously fictionalised, many real moments were captured extraordinarily well without just remaking the scenarios. Riveting dialouges too. Go watch this show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Gripping and riveting. Provides the constant delivery of tension you'd have experienced live during the nationally televised double homicide trial of former football star OJ Simpson.
