I am about to graduate from AADA and I am thrilled with my experience, I have grown so much as a performer, as an artist and as a human being.
I love my teachers and the people that work at school are amazing! As an international student sometimes the language barrier can get in the way but my teachers were very patient and always very supportive of my process.
What I would’ve loved to have had experience was sharing a learning space with people that have the same work ethic as I do. There were a lot of students that were not putting 100% of their capabilities and that makes it hard to learn when it comes to acting (since most of the work relies on another person to be able to run scenes, projects and so).
I think the Academy could do a thorough research before accepting people at the school.
Work ethic was something that I appreciate.
Some students would have a very negative attitude towards school which made it hard sometimes to be at school and not be affected by them.

Being a newcomer to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts fills me with anticipation and enthusiasm. It's inspiring to be part of a campus with a rich history in the performing arts and theater. I look forward to immersing myself in the expertise of teachers who specialize in acting techniques, scriptwriting, and theater history. Being a member of this institution excites me because I believe it will propel me forward in honing my craft and bring me closer to realizing my dreams.
Last summer I took a two-week summer program at The AADA. I auditioned for the full time program while I was in Los Angeles and a few months later I was accepted! From those two weeks alone, I have learned more about the industry and things I would have never thought of. The specialized training is nothing I have ever seen before. It is spectacular!
I used those techniques and tips during the spring and got a role in a movie! Now I am beyond excited to learn more things to help me in the future!
Highly recommended for people who want to pursue acting!
