A 27 year old man died in the early hours of this morning after being stabbed in the chest in a street in Amadora (on the Lisbon outskirts). The young man was apparently involved in a fight, “for reasons unknown”, with his alleged attacker – whose identity has been communicated to police by witnesses. For now, the alleged attacker is “in parts uncertain”. His victim was attended by paramedics who tried in vain to resuscitate him. Death was declared at Amadora-Sintra hospital while PJ police are searching for the alleged assailant.
