As we practice social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19, it's important to somehow stay connected with one another. What better way to do that than through music? On Saturday, April 18, Global Citizen will partner with the World Health Organization (WHO) to host "One World: Together At Home," a live, at-home concert. Hosted by comedians Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, this multi-hour digital broadcast aims to raise money for its COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and celebrate health care workers fighting on the front lines.

"As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, "One World: Together At Home" aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19," cofounder and CEO of Global Citizen, Hugh Evans writes in a statement emailed to Allure. "Through music, entertainment, and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else's."

The fund, which has already raised $30 million, is powered by supporters and corporate partners of WHO and Global Citizen. The money will help local and regional charities that provide food, shelter, and health care to everyone affected by COVID-19.

There will be at-home performances from Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Elton John, John Legend, Lizzo, Kacey Musgraves, Stevie Wonder, and more. Viewers can also expect appearances from stars like Idris and Sabrina Elba, Kerry Washington, David Beckham, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas throughout the concert.

Global Citizen is just the latest of many brands and corporations pulling in resources to help fight the pandemic. LVMH and Coty Inc. are making hand sanitizers, while nail brand CND and hair-care brand SheaMoisture are starting funds to help save small businesses affected by mandated store closures. If there's a silver lining in any of this, it's the joint effort worldwide to help one another.

You can tune in to the live broadcast on Saturday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET. It will stream on various platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Instagram, and YouTube, and will air on ABC, NBC, and iHeart Media, among other networks. For more information on how to view, check out globalcitizen.org. We'll be tuning in for sure from the comfort of our own homes.
