Rabat – The rider Ali Al Ahrach won, on Sunday, the Grand Prix of HM King Mohammed VI of the official 3* show jumping competition of the Royal Guard, organized from April 26 to 28 at the Hassan II quarry in Méchouar in Rabat, under the High Patronage of HM the King.
Riding the horse “Douglas Mail”, Ali Al Ahrach ranked first in this event, reserved for 1st category horses (1.45m), after a jump-off, completing the course flawlessly in 44sec 01/100th.
Second position in this event, which took place in a single round, went to El Ghali Boukaa on “Chester N”, who achieved a time of 45sec 64/100th and 4 penalty points. Rider Fouad Larhrissi, riding the horse “Dean Martin”, came third, after completing the course in 83sec 56/100th and one penalty point.
Organized under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), the official 3* show jumping competition of the Royal Guard, which was marked by the holding of 19 events, saw the participation of the most eminent riders from national equestrian clubs affiliated with the FRMSE.
