Very Friendly and Helpful

From the second my wife and I walked through the door to Mr. Abel's office we felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Alfred and his staff went above and beyond when guiding me through the process of filing for bankruptcy. A real difference to the holiday season this year

I am eternally grateful

On February 10, 2011, I lost my job. Because of my work history, I never anticipated that it would take almost one year to find another position. Due to some health issues with my daughter, our savings was precarious at best, so this was a blow. Due to the job loss, I began to have financial difficulty with numerous lawsuits and a house in foreclosure. I came to Alfred Abel for help and I was able to get everything back on track. The lawsuits were dropped and I was able to do payment arrangements and my mortgage was modified once I gained employment. We are still working through it, but it is such a relief not to have to worry whether or not we will have our house at the end of the day. I am eternally grateful. Thank you again.

Schedule a consultation with Mr. Abel immediately

My business partner somehow was able to withdraw money from a joint account with my name on it. We had some business expenses we were planning on paying with this money. He skipped town and because I was registered as part owner of the business, I was responsible for paying this debt. Things were out of control and before I knew it, the Sheriff came out to my house and starting putting price tags on everything. I couldn't take it anymore and decided to research bankruptcy. In my search, I came across Attorney Abel and scheduled an appointment right away. He was able to have everything taken care of and stop the Sheriff sale from happening. If anyone is ever in my situation, I would recommend they schedule a consultation with Mr. Abel immediately.

Due to the fact that I lost my job and was disabled, my wife and I faced a severe problem, keeping up with monthly expenses, especially unsecured debt. With that in mind and with the help of the internet, I located Alfred Abel Law Offices as someone to look at in regards to potential bankruptcy options. In February of 2013 we met with Mr. Abel and decided to secure his services with our bankruptcy case. Very confident with Mr. Abel

"When I met personally with Alfred A Abel in discussing my potential bankruptcy, I felt secure in the knowledge that I was going to get the best service that I could have hoped for. I had special circumstatnces in that I was going to be out of the country for most of the process due to family reasons. I communicated with Mr Abel and his staff via email wonderfully. Even though we had a time difference in our correspondence there were never questions that had gone unanswered. When preparing for my hearing, Mr Abel was extrememly informative and honest. Working with Alfred and his staff was easy.

It happened one day; I just realized I was in over my head. Between being laid off for 18 months and then finally finding a position in retail taking a 2/3 cut in pay, I knew I was in deep. I had always struggled with credit card debt but always paid the bills and had a high credit score. And, I felt that bankruptcy had this negative connotation around it. I met with Alfred and discussed my situation. I learned in that initial consultation that I did have the option of filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. I also learned what this meant. And, I could keep my house and car. I didn’t need to give up anything, except for my pride. Once I swallowed my pride and took the plunge into the process, it felt liberating. I now pay cash for everything. Working with Alfred and his staff was easy. They kept me informed of the steps and the progress in a timely and professional manner.
