Well, this is awkward.

According to a new report, Matt Damon‘s daughters were recently denied admission to St. Ann’s, an elite private school located in Brooklyn Heights, NYC. A student’s tuition at the institution allegedly ranges from $36,000 to $42,500 per year.

The actor and his wife, Luciana Barroso — who are moving their family to the east coast after briefly living in LA — tried to get their three youngest children enrolled in the exclusive academy but were told the school had no open spots for new students.

“They had a conversation with the school, but St. Ann’s just won’t bend the rules. They don’t care [who the parents of its students are]. A lot of schools will bend the rules very happily; they’ll bring celebrities’ kids in midway through the year or do whatever they want. St. Ann’s just isn’t doing it,” a source told Page Six.
