When Alexander Paul Ludwig Konstantin von Württemberg was born on 9 September 1804, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, his father, Duke Ludwig Friedrich Alexander von Württemberg, was 48 and his mother, Henriette von Nassau-Weilburg, was 24. He married Claudine Susanna Rhédey von Kis-Rhéde on 2 May 1835, in Vienna, Austria. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He died on 4 July 1885, in Laskó, Baranya, Hungary, at the age of 80, and was buried in Laško, Laško, Slovenia.

The original Ouse Bridge collapsed in 1154 under the weight of a crowd that was on it. In 1367, after the bridge had been replaced with stone and became the site of the first public toilets. In 1564-1565 the bridge was finally done being repaired. In 1810 and 1818 the bridge was dismantled to make way for a new Ouse Bridge design and completed in 1821.
