Notes
This is Alex North's unused and unfinished score for the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" produced by Stanley Kubrick (1968).
The score was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on January 29th and 30th 1993.
Mastered at Ocean View Digital.
In addition to those listed above, this recording would not have been possible without the dedication of Vic Fraser, Christopher Palmer and Sidney Sax, but most of all Anna North.
Track 1: Modeled upon "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss.
Tracks 2 & 6: Are two different takes composed for "The Dawn Of Man" sequence.
Track 12: Originally composed for the 'Overture' and 'Intermission' (Entr'acte) sequences.
