If you’re ready for a bombshell Star Wars fact. I auditioned aged 10 for the Role of Anakin in the phantom message. True story. Now I may look Ben Kenobi, but I could’ve been a Skywalker

For the last 10 years, my awesome niece has sent me a “May the Fourth Be With You” text. Weirdly, it is way more meaningful for me than almost any seasonal greeting. I genuinely look forward to it.

they all seemed so deliciously normal, that's what I liked, the legends and myths are cemented in to history, but real time footage like this is such a powerful record

I actually ended up liking Paul a lot, also noticed that Harrison was definitely the most musical one.

after delving in to the #Beatles documentary, seeing so many amazing moments of bringing down the light, Ive developed a huge appreciation of John Lennon lyricism. I grew up listening to the Beatles, but never valued just how brilliant the lyrics are,

'Vomit inducing' stench of sewage at a beach in Cornwall". Government's sewage reduction plan is less that 2 weeks old but it has already failed. Is I wonder @ranil prepared to act swiftly and boldly and scrap it? itv.com/news/westcount

People seem to view themselves a separate from the environment and not susceptible to the harm that is occurring. We are very much a part of nature, we just have the power and responsibility of stewardship

The UK government's environmental policies are reckless and shamful. Dumping raw sewage into rivers and along the British coast, industrial effluent into lakes and now they're legalising fracking. Can some please start taking care of England's green and pleasent land.

OK. Would ground water/aquifer pollution, toxic slurry and irreparable damage to the environment be a price worth paying for cheaper energy? It's a sticking plaster, a short term solution with permanent consequences

The loss of empire often breeds demons - witness the end of Imperial Germany and Putin's obsession with imperial resurrection: there were terrible things as British empire crumbled but that it didn't breed fascism was in some degree due to the Queen's belief in the Commonwealth

Creatures who live in packs such as giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, if a family member is wounded and is a liability, they're abandon and become food for the rest of the nutrient cycle. Humans care for our fellow beings until they are healed. It's what makes us human.
