Albertsons

We went shopping for some goodies to take back to our hotel room and we found all the things we needed in stock. Of course we came to buy a couple of things then ended up with an arm full of stuff at decent prices.

We only shop here when we need a few items for something we last minute put on the dinner menu. The reason being is obvious, they (like most unionized grocery chains) lean towards the more expensive side. We won't use them for "major" grocery shopping for just that reason.

However, this Albertsons is usually well stocked with whatever it is we need. The store is clean and the employees usually receptive and knowledgeable if you have a question, especially in the vegetable section. Occasionally they'll have some decent sales, but you have to have had to seen their flyer to know this.

Overall, they're okay in my book and will utilize them from time to time in the future as well.

Tiffani W was my cashier today. Had long conversations with the people ahead of me taking her time and oh so nice to them....so rude to me and short. Not sure what her problem is but no, that is not okay. I would totally rather go somewhere else than a place that employs snooty cashiers like that

The employees at this store are kind and helpful. I appreciate their patience with us. My son is autistic and can distract me and them lol! Also, they are patient with my lack of app skills. The app saves us a lot of $$. Shopping the weekly deals keeps the pantry stocked and really helps. Thankyou guys for always being so patient and kind. Joe in bakery always takes a minute to say hello to us when he sees us!

Prices are a bit on the high side. There doesn't seem to be enough personnel or someone who may be around when you need to ask for help. Overall the staff is friendly. The meat counter offerings are not impressive. Also, wish they had better quality desserts.

I'm only giving it a one star rating because a nice young lady with really nice makeup checked up on me twice when waiting to be assisted at the Western Union. I wouldn't have cared any-other day, but today I really needed my money to buy my long-awaited medication prescription before my pharmacy closed. I stopped by here as it is on my way from work or else I would've gone to my preferred Albertsons in Fallbrook. I waited for about 20 minutes, and the only person to check up on me was a nice young female employee. After waiting all that time, a manager finally assists me stating she doesn't have a code to access the Western Union database and she has to reset it. I'm not an inconsiderate person, I understand stuff like this happens, but this same manager was at the cash register while I was waiting for over 20 minutes. This Albertsons needs structure. Not cool.

I don't really shop at Albertson's but when I do it is usually because they are having some sort of meat deal. I immensely enjoy consuming meat. Today I met Clint of the Meat Department and he was excellent! He graciously handled all my annoying meat requests. Really great customer service. 10/10 would recommend.

This is our go to Grocery store. They are typically 99% in stock with everything we use. Never had a bad experience at this location as the employees have always been helpful and nice.

The Albertson in this area is clean and well-lit during the day and night. It's a convenient place to fulfill anyone's delight for a Ben and Jerry's ice cream or to find a wide selection of fresh flowers to soften someone's heart.

There is a variety of merchandise to choose from in the store, including coffee and hot meal stations. For the movie junkies, there are two RedBox stations setup located one of each in and outside the store.

Conversely, the customer relationship is poor which is mostly at the cashier level, except for one, possibly the manager who is consistently friendly. The culture gives the feeling of being unwelcomed. Too many singers in the opera. Know that happy customers are equal to returning customers.

I'm a fan of Albertson's for the following reasons:
1) their hot salsa has an admirable level of heat. If I have to buy salsa at a supermarket, I make my way here.
2) their cakes! Some of the best cakes I have tasted have come from Albertson's.
3) they season your meat...for free! Mine was seasoned in rosemary and lemon.

I was at this particular Albertson's when I asked Joy from the Butcher department a question about a cut of beef. She not only answered the question, she helped direct me to great cuts of beef on sale and then offered to season, listing all their varieties.

It could be that this is done at all the Albertson's but Joy made it feel that as a customer, this level of service and expertise was gladly given to each and every person who walked to her counter. Thanks, Joy!
