What travelers are saying
- Sam B2 contributionsIf travelling as a foot passenger from Marseille, make sure you go to the foot passenger terminal and not the car entrance (where google maps seems to take you). Unhelpfully, the exact location of the foot passenger terminal isn't on Corsica Linea's website at the time of writing.
The exact location of the foot passenger terminal is:
Gare maritime piétons Corse,
4982 Quai de la Joliette, 13002 Marseille, France
Other than not knowing where to go to get on the ferry and subsequently nearly missing it, Corsica Linea had really good service, good value food and nice to have a selection of films to watch in our cabin on the Marseille-Ajaccio ferry.Written July 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RussellLondon, UK1 contributionThis is a beautiful undeveloped beach about 25 minutes drive from Ajaccio.
It’s a lovely natural bay with crystal clear water with that beautiful aqua marine tone thanks to the white sand. There’s some seaweed build up at the edges but only to be expected with a natural beach.
There’s one restaurant in the beach that also offers a limited number of Matresses and umbrellas for a combined €30
But be warned there’s no mobile signal there and as a result both the restaurant and the sun loungers are cash only. Pizzas in the restaurant are hearty and as a result are enough for 2 assuming no one is a big eater.

What happened to all those people? I later found out those people were hiking up to the historical watch tower at the summit of this mountain with incredible views of the Corsican coast, faraway Ajaccio, and the Mediterranean. Worth exploring this scenic area.Written December 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- flaneur40New York City, NY1,718 contributionsYou can take the public number 5 bus from center of Ajaccio to this final stop. Once there walk out and around the watchtower and take in the view of the Iles sanguinaires and then walk back about 15-20 minutes to Plage Moorea which is one of the nicest Ajaccio beachesWritten September 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
