LOVE is rewatching garbage for Mads the ONLY evening this week I have free time. I liked how they didn't even make a futile attempt to make him look less attractive than the lead basic what's his ass Hollywood was forcing on us for few years a decade ago, Mads even bitchslapped him upon his entrance. YES KING <3 They did give him one puny scar but they also gave him long hair, armor, shield and a sword. He was like Wonder Woman <3

I truly don't understand why this movie gets so much hate. It is so badass. Sam Worthington's acting is so good and Ralph Fiennes plays the villian so we know he's brilliant. The cinematography, set design, and costume design are amazingggg. The CGI is so good for 2010 and the score literally gives me chills. SO UNDERRATED!!!

Noch einmal bin ich ins alte Griechenland zurückgekehrt, um Perseus hilfreich bei seinem Kampf mit dem Kraken unter die Arme zu greifen.
Ich bin ein sehr großer Fan von Ray Harryhausen und mag natürlich auch sein „Kampf der Titanen“ von 1981 sehr, obwohl ich ihn nicht zu seinen besten Arbeiten zähle. Ich war damals extrem gespannt auf dieses Remake und habe angenommen, dass die Technik, die im Jahr 2010 zur Verfügung gestanden ist, dem Film bestimmt zugute kommen wird.
Auch die Version von "Kampf der Titanen" aus dem Jahr 2010 erzählt uns die Geschichte von Perseus (Sam Worthington), dem Sohn von Zeus (Liam Neeson) und der sterblichen Danaë. Er wächst als Waise bei einem Fischer und seiner Frau…

My Greek Mythology is a little sketchy in the 35 years since I left school, so tell me, was Zeus Irish? Now forgive me for taking the piss, but Greek Mythology was a big thing for me back then, and when they announced they were going to remake that Harry Hamlin shit from the early 80's I hoped we'd get a grown up version that would be scary and as dirty as those Greek Gods were in the history books. Alas we got a CGI-fest, one that didn't have a slutty Andromeda with her male sex slaves, Zeus popping down to Earth for a bit of how's your father, or monsters so scary they'd give you nightmares for a week.…
Let's begin with the most inconvenient aspect of them all: it is not based on Greek mythology, but on a previous film.
Leterrier is strongly paving his road to suckness, proving that he can be as bad as he wants to. This worthless 2010 remake had a very specific target market: youngsters ignorant of Greek mythology. It is not a condemnation towards them, but if knowledge is what they seek, they should refer to literature. Naturally, and most probably, they won't. They came here for the special effects. They came here to see the CGI-improved Kraken. They came here to see Liam Neeson in another of his legendary, immortal roles, and maybe Ralph Fiennes as the personification of another villain…
