Seven startup companies affiliated with French surgical robotics accelerator Haventure have partnered together to raise €3.15 million in seed money (€450,000 each) from an entity named SUROSH.
“I have decided to let angels invest in our startups in order to share a very promising success story to come,” Haventure President Stéphane Lavallée, main startup founder, said.
The startups are targeting unmet clinical needs in the medtech and robotics space, leveraging Grenoble, France's, ecosystem in digital surgery and robotics. The firms span orthopedics, ENT (ear, nose, throat), spine, and maternal hemorrhage:
Funding support came from various partners—BNP Paribas, BPI France, BP AURA, CERA, CIC Lyonnaise de Banque, and Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The companies' advisors were Apparius, NCA, and Goodwin.

Haventure is the first business accelerator dedicated to surgical robotics startups. Founded in Grenoble in 2012 by Lavallée, Haventure has contributed to the creation and deployment of more than 11 startups, four of which have already conducted a successful exit to major market players. Haventure has a team of specialists in regulatory quality management, intellectual property, IT services and, more generally, everything a startup needs to deploy itself in a highly standardized universe. Haventure's financial support have helped create more than 400 jobs, 100 patents, and 15 CE Mark/U.S. Food and Drug Administration-cleared products.

- KAT Robotics is developing a robotic application with interactive power tool control for orthopedic applications (CEO: Addie Harris)
- LinkX Robotics is developing a solution with 3D planning and robotics technologies to treat knee ligament injuries (CEO: Manon Linder)
- SpinEM Robotics is developing a next-generation robotic spinal surgery system (CEO: Stéphane Morvan)
- Ostesys is developing a solution with imaging, planning, and robotics technologies for knee osteotomies (CEO: Marie-Anne Chanrion)
- Zentact Robotics is developing an advanced telemanipulated robot for endoscopic ENT surgery (CEO: Clément Mirabel).
