- Are there actual variations in different releases? The master release has the following notes, but they're not entirely accurate (for at least my copy):
• "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" and "Looking for Clues" are new remixes.
• "Pride" is apparently a previously unreleased mix.
Also, IIRC, "Every Kinda People" is present in a different (presumably new) mix. Of course, it is also present in a rather different mix on Addictions Vol. 2 as well, but the mix on Vol. 1 is not the same as on Double Fun.• "Woke Up Laughing" is the 1988 remix from Sweet Lies (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
I've seen this referred to as a remix before, but as far as I know, it is a completely different recording from the original (which was on Clues).• "Simply Irresistible" is the 7" version.
While this is true, unless I'm mistaken, the 7" version of Simply Irresistible is the same version as on Heavy Nova (there was a longer single version as well), so I'm not sure why they'd note it. I wonder if they meant to refer to the fact that an edited version of Addicted To Love is on this set (seemingly based on the earlier single edit, but with the longer introduction in place of the single's more baffling edit).
So, are there any actual musical differences between different pressings/releases, or do they all contain the same edits and remixes?
