Complimentary Support and Warranty

Complimentary support provides free support via telephone and/or webmail for setup, installation, assembly, and connectivity. Most of our channel products are entitled to one year of complimentary support from Adaptec during normal business hours. This complimentary support period begins at the time of purchase.

How long is the hardware warranty for Adaptec hardware?
Most Adaptec hardware products come with a three year hardware warranty.

If you contact technical support outside of your complementary support period but within your hardware warranty, you will need to pay for a support incident in order to get help from our support experts. However, if we determine that the issue is a problem that is covered under your hardware warranty, we will process a full refund of the support incident purchase price.

Adaptec does not offer out-of-warranty repair.

Contact our technical support department if you are unsure about the support and/or warranty period for your product. We need the serial number of the product to determine these periods.

Adaptec is committed to assisting customers with the highest quality of service. Adaptec does not tolerate in any way unprofessional levels of communication such as abusive or threatening language or behavior. Adaptec reserves the right to deny support to individuals who communicate in an abusive, threatening, or unprofessional manner.
