Ramones Acid Eaters (Radioactive) In terms of influences, the Ramones have always been the ultimate ’60s band. No surprise, then, that this collection of covers, Acid Eaters, from that decade sounds like an aural love letter bashed out in a garage on a rainy day. The formula? Stamp their notorious louder-and-faster imprimatur on a handful of AOR radio staples, like the Who’s ”Substitute” (with Pete Townshend singing backup) and Jefferson Airplane’s ”Somebody to Love.” The result?
