Coming back to school after the Covid-19 pandemic was not easy. For someone who was already so introverted, being in an environment with so much people was overwhelming. I thought high school was going to be scary, difficult, and exhausting. That wasn’t true. Ever since I arrived at Abraham Lincoln High School, I’ve been greeted with kindness and welcomed into the Lincoln community. I acknowledged immediately the many different program, classes and clubs this school has to offer. As a junior, I can say that this school provides every student the chance to reach their academic and personal potential. I could not imagine being at a different high school. The people and events in it make every moment there unforgettable. I’ve taken advantage of all the opportunities my school gives me, and I have assurance that this school will help me tremendously in preparing me for college!
Abraham Lincoln high school is a very fun diverse high school. Lots of activities and different things to look forward to. New people to meet and teachers. Not diverse in people but diverse with classes and learning abilities. Even a rare program amongst most high schools nowadays. Contains an animal program. That is also hands-on with various breeds of animals. Great science, technology, and great environment to learn .In the future, I hope Lincoln has a community to grow together, and for the people to get along better, and learn together. My sports experience has been great along with the vet science program. The sports and program make my day along with seeing good helpful teachers with good friends. Overall, Abraham Lincoln is a good high school to choose.
As a student at Abraham Lincoln high school, I will say I’ve had an amazing experience so far. Abraham Lincoln has many different activities such as clubs, sports and extra curricular. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in clubs, such as ELL leaders, Empowerment club and even sports like track. Compared to other schools in Brooklyn majority don’t have a pool but in Abraham Lincoln, I was able to learn how to swim which I never thought I would enjoy so much. Abraham Lincoln is a very diverse school because I feel like if I were to go to any other high school I wouldn’t have able to experience and learn about the different cultures in my school. For example, my friends now, I didn’t even know anything about their culture before I went to Abraham Lincoln high school. I was able to learn and understand about their many different traditions and foods. I am glad that i’ve had my four years of high school here, I was able to learn, grow, and make new friends that I’ve never expected.
