An 18-year-old Arlington Public Schools employee is facing charges connected with an incident that allegedly occurred at Abingdon Elementary School, county police said.
On April 19, police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that an Extended Day employee assigned to the school allegedly had displayed pornography to three juvenile victims, police said April 26.
As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Matthew Pineda of Fairfax County was arrested and charged with assault-and-battery and two counts of possession of child pornography, police said.
He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility, and police are seeking information about additional possible victims.
