Hi all,
I am looking for a small group tour or a driver/private tour guide that does day trips from Tokyo to Hakone/Mt Fuji. We are not wanting to hire a car and do it ourselves.
There are 5 of us and 2 are 6'2" so the tiny little vans that some offer are not suitable for us so trying to find a guide that has a bigger van or mini bus.
Does anyone know of anyone that we could use or contact?

The majority of guides won't drive in Japan because the law is banning it.

142 helpful votes I booked through Viator a private 1 day tour and it gave me the option to pick the size van we wanted. Our tour only includes an English speaking driver, no actual guide. Not sure a guide is that necessary.
I agree as far as you have a driver, you might just need to choose the spots you would like to visit.
Of course you can hire a tour guide that would be helpful but not that necessity.
First you have to understand that it would be take an hour and a half just to travel between Fuji Lake area to Hakone.
