9-1-1: Lone Star season 4 came and went, and boy, did it deliver the TV wedding of the year.

After fans waited to see if TK Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva) would tie the knot, viewers witnessed "Tarlos" (the fictional couple's relationship name) become husband and husband. While the events leading up to the nuptials involved Carlos learning tragic information about his father's death, he eventually pulled it together to marry the love of his life.

What's more, the pair celebrated their happiness with family and friends, including Tommy Vega (Gina Torres) — who switched out of her uniform to serenade TK and Carlos with a rendition of "Being Alive" from the musical Company.

Will 9-1-1: Lone Star ever crossover with 9-1-1 on ABC?

Fans of 9-1-1: Lone Star may know that its predecessor 9-1-1 is moving to ABC from Fox for season 7. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network initially canceled 9-1-1 in order to lower its costs for the production of new shows.

The outlet noted that the franchise is currently owned by Disney's 20th Television, and Fox paid more than $9 million in licensing fees per episode of 9-1-1. As a result, they chose to axe it and instead renewed 9-1-1: Lone Star, which only costs between $6 million and $7 million per episode.

While higher-ups at Fox say it's "extremely unlikely" for 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star to have crossover episodes, Rob Lowe has high hopes that it will happen. What's more, he thinks this could lead to more shows in the franchise.

“Oh I think we will,” he told Variety in June. “There’s a world where 9-1-1 Lone Star and 9-1-1 are on at the same time on different networks. I don’t think they would cannibalize it. But I mean, anything’s possible."

Rob added: "I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t a third 9-1-1. Why not? 9-1-1: Sin City. I’m just spitballing. I don’t have any insight. I just know what I’d be doing if I ran the world.”
