An 80’s Side Pony makes for an easy DIY throwback Halloween costume. Here’s 3 easy steps from celebrity stylist @Sarah Potempa 1. Brush or pull hair to one side. At the root, brush downward towards your scalp to tease for added volume. 2. Pull hair into a high side pony and secure with a hair tie. Add a bright scrunchie for a super 80's look. 3. Finish with Aussie Sprunch hairspray for all night stay. Pair this look with anything neon or spandex and vogue on down to your costume party.
All 80's props made using Dollar Tree products and cardboard boxes. For the Rubiks cubes, Cut poster boards into squares and tape them on box with double sided tape. Do not glue - it makes the poster board crinkle. Take the black electrical tape and run it between each square. Also covered a box with silver duct tape and drew tuner and knobs to make the boom box.
