“60 Minutes” (7 p.m. PT; 7:30 p.m. ET, CBS): The Army general supervising the distribution of maybe the most important medicine in the nation’s history worries that many Americans may not take it. Gen. Gustave Perna is the veteran Army supply officer tasked by the president to supervise the massive distribution of COVID vaccine once it’s FDA approved. He speaks to David Martin and cameras record the moving parts of his critical mission dubbed “Operation Warp Speed.” Says Perna, “My worst nightmare is that we get vaccines to the American people and they don’t take them. Shame on us.”

“NCIS: Los Angeles” (8 p.m. PT; 8:30 p.m. ET, CBS): Season 12 begins with the search for a Russian bomber that has gone missing while flying over U.S. soil. Callen and Sam must track it down in the desert and secure its weapons and intel before the Russians on board destroy the plane. Also, Hetty gives Nell a cryptic assignment. The season premiere of “NCIS: new Orleans” immediately follows.

“Rebuilding Paradise” (9 p.m., National Geographic Channel): Ron Howard’s documentary about the devastating November 2018 Camp Fire that destroyed most of a small Northern California community makes its television debut with a commercial-free broadcast. By the time the wildfire was extinguished, it had killed 85 people, displaced 50,000 residents and destroyed 95 percent of local structures. It was the deadliest U.S. fire in 100 years. Howard’s film is a moving story of resilience in the face of tragedy, as a community ravaged by disaster comes together to recover what was lost and begin the important task of rebuilding.

“Fargo” (10 p.m., FX): Things are coming to a head as we approach the Nov. 29 finale. In tonight’s epoisode, Loy plays with fire, Josto wears his heart on his sleeve, Oraetta makes a surprising discovery, and Deafy closes in on Zelmare and Swanee.

“Moonbase 8” (11 p.m., Showtime): Set in the isolated desert of Winslow, Arizona at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator, this new comedy series follows eager astronauts Skip (Fred Armisen), Rook (Tim Heidecker) and their leader Cap (John C. Reilly) as they attempt to qualify for their first lunar mission. While working vigorously to complete their training, a series of unexpected circumstances forces the astronauts to question their own mental sanity, trust in each other and whether or not they’re cut out for space travel.
