Just wanted to post a warning for travelers to Phuket when buying SIM card at airport.
I have traveled to Thailand many times and always bought Sims at the booths as you exit arrivals. On this occasion I knew I would not be allowed to due to the Phuket sandbox system where you are directed straight to covid testing and then to your taxi. I was pleasantly surprised to see AIS SIM card stall before I left arrivals. I bought I sim card with unlimited 5G data for 30 days for 899 baht only find out when I got to hotel I noticed they had given me a 10mbps package worth only 200 baht. Contacted AIS at first they where uninterested and said 699 baht was the cost of the SIM card I told the cost is normally free or 50 baht. They then said this was not an official AIS SIM seller so I would have to deal with them directly but they are behind the arrivals security, so no go there. The stall looked official and was on the security side and there where other sim companies in the same location. I recommend you do not buy any sim cards from Phuket airport and wait to buy them from 7-11 once you pass your first covid test. Hope you find my experience useful.
