For serious shoppers,Meritus Mandarin offer the best location with all the best shopping centers in Singapore very near to it.The best shopping for Singapore is still in Orchard Road.Don't bother with Marina or Vivo City. Even though part of the hotel is undergoing renovation for a new shopping center,you hardly notice it. Staff service level are excellent.We ask for extra pillows at 2.00am and they sent it to our room with a smile. But as with all hotels in Orchard Road,the hotel is quite old.If you want a new flashy designer style hotel,this hotel is not for you.If you don't mind an old hotel but with excellent services from its staff and in a good location,this hotel should be in your list.

As Singapore hotels go, this is a reasonably priced accommodation in Orchard Road. It’s close to shopping centres, bars, the Orchard MRT station, and a bus stop where you can pick up No. 36, which runs to all the four airport terminals. The hotel staff were very helpful in every way. There’s also a good WiFi. As with all Yotel rooms, ours was compact but came complete with a mini fridge and tea/coffee, right down to a safe and even an ironing board. We had a premium room with a view — through the bathroom! We felt slightly conscious of being seen from across the building while in the toilet or shower although we were on the 25th floor, higher than any of the surrounding buildings. There are blinds for privacy or blocking the morning sunlight. As the hotel is quite new, it was spankingly clean. The lightings make you feel like being in a futuristic film like The Fifth Element! All in all a very good experience, although bigger sized people may feel a bit claustrophobic.

After my several stays in various 5* hotels around Orchard road, i find this hotel offers the best location among others. Although facing the busy Orchard road, there was no single noise disturbance from outside. The most important thing is, you can go back in and out easily, due to its closeness to everything Orchard road has to offer. During making of our reservation, the staff was also very helpful in ensuring extra requests to be fullfilled ie. upgrade and location of the room. Upon arrival and during our stay, the Belldesk staff were also friendly and helpful at all times. One service hick up occured during my stay, which I consider normal whereever i stay in other 5* in Spore, but the staff at the front desk who had genuinely apologized at the end of our stay, had settled the matter. I wish to return to stay in this hotel and i hope hospitality will at least stay the same or even much better.

I came for an important exam and was staying in this hotel due to the perfect location (3mins walking distance to exam venue), at first I was hesitate to book this hotel because of the picture of the hotel building looks abit old, BUT surprisingly the interior is so NEW, CLEAN and WELL maintained! According to the receptionist from lobby, this hotel had just done renovation and that’s why the interior so clean and new. I stayed at the 10th floor and the room was so cozy and well equipped with everything, even with a modern tech water dispenser! The cleaner is so friendly and she help me tidy every single corner. The price is affordable with such good location (1min walking to lotsa of shopping malls in orchard road) and friendly service. Totally worth it! Will sure come back again when come to Singapore and will sure recommend to my friends!

I went to Singapore with my daughter on the week of the apec summit and we are not able to book the 5 stars hotel in orchard road we always stay. We have to check internet for hotels and we found out this hotel. We checked with a friend in Singapore about this hotel and she told us it is a good hotel. We booked the hotel and we did not regret it. It is very accessible to Orchard road specially to the new mall the Ion Orchard which I think is one of the best mall in Orchard road. The service is good and we have free internet. The room is clean and comfortable and the drinks in the mini ref is free. It is the first time I have stayed in a hotel with free drinks included. We have try their buffet lunch and we are happy. The food is good and the price is very reasonable and if you have amex card it is less 15%. I will recommend my friends to book this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 10.30 AM. During the booking, we did request for early check in. Guess what, they really approve our request for early check in. It's a good thing since most hotels do not really allow for early check in. Then, we were brought to the room. The room is spacious, fully furnished with hair dryer, bath tub, LCD TV and queen size bed. The staffs are very polite, always give recommendations on where to go in Orchard Road. Last but not least, i must commend their cleanliness, my room is cleaned twice a day in the afternoon and evening. That makes our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is located in Orchard Road area so it's very close to the prime shopping complex. Overall if this hotel has a special discounted rate, do not hesitate to book it. Trust me, you won't regret it.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

its a wonderful hotel and highly recommended for families with kids. centrally located and very convenient to orchard road through the link bridge to paragon shopping centre. super easy to access through the pool area on the 4th floor. estimated 1-2mins walk time to paragon through covered walkway, so no worries abt rain or kids crossing the road. super easy to maneuvre with kids tagging. we stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, super spacious with good kitchenette facilities, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and 2 tv. wifi was superb, very strong reception and we connected the wifi to 4 smartphones with no disruption. good water pressure for the showers. all in all... a highly recommended location in orchard for families who are looking for extra space.

great location in orchard road area. it's very convenient for shopping with the entire stretch of shopping centres on both sides of the road. the area has a number of movie theaters to while away the time. lots if great restaurants that serve all types if food. the clothes available come from all the brand names in the world. in terms of transport, it's extremely easy to hop on an mrt to any part of singapore. as for the hotel the ambience is perfect for both business and social meetings . truly an enjoyable stay.

Our 4 nights stay with Orchard Hotel was great. We stayed at 2x Superior rooms as our boys stayed on the other room. The rooms were very clean and the beds were really cozy and comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner as we requested cleaned our rooms almost everyday. When we arrived the friendly Filipina staff, Mel checked us in and we requested that our 2 rooms be right next to each other. We got the requested rooms thanks to Mel. The following day I inquired with the Hotel's tour desk and we booked for our Sentosa, Night Safari and the Cheng Ho Dinner Cruise. On the times that we were not joining the local tours, we've been walking from our hotel down to Orchard Road. We basically entered most of the buildings and had been in and out of all the boutiques and high end shops. Gosh!!!! My leg hurts but it was a good excercise. During weekends we could see lot of Filipinos around Orchard Road. We tried taking the MRT experience going to Clark Quay to eat a crabby lunch at Jumbo Restaurant and then after a big meal we walked to Chinatown. The hotel's location was great. We just have to walk towards the road to start our trail going down to Orchard Road. On our last day we tried having lunch at the 2nd level Chinese Rest. They have a good selection of food there. Yum-cha's good too. Downstairs at the Cafe they have a very nice buffet lunch and dinner. I just looked on the food selections and they were nice too. We didn't try it, next time we will. Our overall experience with Orchard Hotel was an A plus. We will recommend to our family and friends to stay there when they visit Singapore. We like Singapore. As an academic I am in Singapore for 2-3 days perhaps 4-5 times annually. Singapore is generally expensive, but there are three places I would think to stay as what I would call acceptable Singapore budget hotels. The RELC is probably my favorite, based upon location near the upper end of Orchard Road. The only thing I would really criticize there is the breakfast. Skip it in favor of Starbucks or McDonalds 300 meters away on Orchard Road. The facilities are limited to what I would call Asian three star standard, but you can go next door to the Shangrila if you need a nice upscale meeting place, etc. (burgers at the top-floor Shangrila Blu Bar are tastiest in Singapore in my opinion, if expensive). My second most favorite is the Ft Canning Lodge, a YWCA affiliate closer to the Clarke Quay and Parliament neighborhood. The breakfast is acceptable there, but the laundromat facilities are not as good as RELC. My third most favorite, a step down and which I typically only book if RELC or the Ft Canning Lodge are unavailable, are a couple of backpackers' hostels on Hong Kong Street, which have a few private rooms with shared bathroom facilities. If cost is a concern the hostel rooms are cheaper, but the trade off is that the bathroom facilities are shared (and the laundromat facilities are also below RELC or the Ft Canning Lodge). Hong Kong Street is well placed close to Boat Quay and the Parliament areas. I think there are two of the different chain hostels on Hong Kong Street, running under different names, but both have a few private rooms.

My second time staying in Novotel. New hotel, near Orchard road, but away from the bustling of Orchard crowd. A few not so positive things to note : 1. I didn’t not request for an extra bed, but when I got to my room, there was an extra bed inside. I had booked the room for one pax only. 2. For a relatively new hotel, the drainage system is not very well maintained, shower room floods every time i used it 3. Lacking basic toiletries in shower cap, soap dish. 4. Aircon system of Food Exchange not maintained. Water dripping from ceiling, and heavy water marks can be seen around the aircon vent. 5. The hotel could have provided more information on shuttle bus service from T Galleria back to hotel, give the location of the pick up point at T Galleria. Other than that, it’s a cosy place, friendly staff, clean environment.

From the beginning to the end of our trip the stay as outstanding. Jimmy who checked us in was so friendly and kind to help us with advice and taxi bookings - was so accommodating to a large group of us and was more than we could ask for. The hotel was always clean, facilities were great - day spa on site which was a welcomed bonus. I’ve eaten at their high tea previously and I highly recommend it. It’s like none other that I’ve seen before. The apartment is conveniently located minutes walk from Orchard Road which I walked to and from almost everyday. Would definitely come back here.

The Supreme Hotel has very good location, just the city centre, near Orchard Road. It's easy to walk to either MRT Dhoby Ghaut as the main interchange station or bus stop, if you don't want to take a taxi. The room is not big but it is bigger than the budget hotel. Importantly, in spite of the old-style decorated room, it is very clean and neat. It is very easy for shopping on Orchard road, you just walk out from the hotel 2 minutes and you can reach Orchard Road already. Furthermore, you can get the food around the hotel, as there is one food court at Conconrde and there is one hawker center nearby. The hotel is closed to Grand Central hotel and near the Orchard Road. It's easy to go to Kwan-Im Goddess Temple, Bugis Junction or Mustafa.I will stay at the Supreme Hotel again, if I go to Singapore next time.

Central location for shopping in Orchard Road!...Paragon, Ngee Ann City,Ion, Robinsons, orchard gateway, 313 somerset, lucky plaza, movies at Cathay or Shaw and lots of restaurants! Our favorite Kinokuniya bookstore is just across. Daily breakfast basic but lets you take out a fruit or cup of coffee. Daily supply of bottled water. Safe, iron/board,ref, coffee/tea in room. No pool but with small gym,washer,dryer, ice maker and vending machine. Will keep coming back to this hotel.

What I wanna say here is that the staff are really caring and proactive. Kudos to the team (From Concierge staff to Restaurant staff to the taxi arrangement staff) !! Proactive & Caring - the staff overheard something from the guest's conversation and act on it before the guest approached them. They inform you how long is the next Taxi will be here to pick you up, and etc. Selections of restaurant in the area. Free shuttle Bus service. 25mins nice walk to Far East Plaza in Orchard road.

i loved this hotel and only wished i had more time to spend in the hotel and/or were staying longer. the location is gorgeous. it's smack in the middle of fort canning park -- an oasis of peace in the heart of singapore and a much more interesting and historic location than on or near orchard road. the building itself was the old british administrative building so it's full of colonial grandeur, but it's been beautifully modernized updated so now it has state of the art technology in every room, plus a fantastically comfortable bed, the softest sheets and high style oozing from every well-designed corner, window and appliance. there is wireless internet in every room and if you don't feel like pulling out your own computer, you can surf the web/check email, etc. on the flat screen tv in your room. my bathroom, which was all glass and light with a beautiful soaking tub as well as a separate shower, had wonderful views, which were available from the bedroom as well since the bedroom/bathroom walls were glass (with electronically controlled curtains for privacy). i arrived very late and very dirty and the front desk greeted me as if i'd arrived mid-morning in a business suit and heels. try to save a little time to explore fort canning park if you can. it's a historic gem and a terrific change from business, shopping and the usual singapore activities.

I have always stayed here when coming to Singapore. Singapore Marriott Hotel is the best and my most favourite hotel to stay when coming to Singapore, highly recommended especially if you are a shoppaholic. It is located exactly at the centre of the great Orchard Road which everyone knows is a shopping heaven for all shoppers. Around the hotel, there are several big shopping malls like the ION Orchard, Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Shaw Centre, Wheelock Place, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Paragon, and some other smaller shops scattered around the Orchard Road and all of them are only minutes of walking distance from the hotel. It is always be my first choice of hotel when coming to Singapore.

Our stay at the Shangri-La was a dream from start to finish. Only booked the day before our arrival but our room in the Garden Wing was ready when we arrived at 9 am with two small tired children in tow. We were also allowed to keep the room until 5 pm on day of departure - again to give our baby a sleep before the flight, at no extra charge. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient and a return visit is our no.1 priority. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area of Orchard Road and Little India, Chinatown and Arab Street each all less than a S$10 taxi ride away.

We selected Hilton due to its international reputation and the experience was obvious, no surprises and up to our expectation. The hotel located was also one of our main considerations since it is located in Orchard Road and that make shopping and dining conveneince for us. Since it was a business trip for me, my wife could just come out from the hotel and she easily pass time in the area. Sevice was good, room is huge, amenities and facilities were excellent.

Overall it was an awesome experience. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, bathroom was big and cosy, bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located really close to Orchard Road, a good 20-minutes leisurely stroll or about 2-3 bus stops away. It was not cheap, but it is worth every single cent we paid for. The brunch at Le Brezza was very good too, they have really nice and fresh seafood, best oysters we ever had. On the downside, we found the spread for the evening cocktail very limited. And I craved for ice cream and called the personal butler to find out what flavor ice creams they had, however, they couldn't tell me and I was only told 'seasonal flavors'. Nevertheless, this wouldn't stop me from going back to St.Regis again. We were very satisfied with our stay overall. Oh, not to forget, they upgraded us to a better room and arranged for late check-out without us asking for it even. Great value-added service! Two thumbs-up! Highly recommended.

Overall had fantastic stay at Regents Singapore. Location - Only 5 mins walk from the bustling Orchard Road. Hotel - Good 5 star standard. The lobby is grandiose and was nicely decorated during the end of year period. The interior design is quite remarkable. Food - Our booking included breakfast, which was great. Many other hotels do not offer this. The food was good, with wide variety and western as well as traditional food. Staff - Very friendly, helpful and kind. Room - Perhaps the only criticism would be the room size. We had a superior room, which although elegant, we found to be rather small. The bathroom was also quite small (for a 5 star). The swimming pool is rather small too. Cleanliness - There is a daily morning and evening housekeeping service which ensures the rooms are generally always clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel provided all the necessities to its guests and I must compliment the cleanliness of the room. I enjoyed waking up to the sound of nature, with rustling leaves and water streaming from the nearby pool. The outlook of the room is modern and simple, neither too much nor too little. The staff were all very friendly and professional. There was no hassle at all with the check in and check out process. Once again, compliments must be given to the efficiency of the staff. I also love the location of the hotel where it's near Orchard Road. Slightly away but it's just a 8 minutes walk. The hotel's location is slightly away from the buzzing Orchard Road which makes it a quiet location. I must say, I enjoyed the walk from Orchard Road to the hotel as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay in Lloyds Inn.

3 adults and a child of 11 years of age stayed at 8 on Claymore for 2 weeks. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. They were not in your face but any request for assistance or travel directions to the various attractions was dealt with in a pleasant manner. The apartment was serviced well and was always clean. The apartment was not serviced at the week end but knowing this in advance meant that we could plan accordingly. 8 on Claymore is ideally placed, only 5 minute walk to Orchard Road and the MRT / buses. For the shopaholics Orchard Road was a shoppers paradise. Only problem was that the shopping malls were so large and interconnected that it was easy to lose your orientation (not the fault of 8 on Claymore). Most of our party enjoyed the eastern food supplied at breakfast but my grandson and wife could not always eat it. This was not a problem as there was cereal, fruit, cold meats, cheese and cookies. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Singapore.

the staff could not have been more helpful, in fact while i was waiting to go to the airport after a day out seeing the sights, one of them offered me access to a shower, and gave me a towel. this was way beyond the call of duty and very welcome. the breakfast, which is in the room rate, was substantial and well-presented in a pleasant large dining room. although the hotel is not on the main drag, it is only about 3 stops on a frequent bus route to orchard road and the subway station, and in the mornings during the week they offer a free shuttle to orchard road.

The hotel is situated in an adjacent road to the Singapore's Shopping, Orchard Road. It itakes 5 min. Walk to get to Orchard. And also a close walk to MRT station, which is very important when you are going around Singapore. The place is quiet. The people working are very nice, and good in handling customers. The rooms are comfortable and simple. There are no frills in the hotel. The price is very good compared to the other hotels at Orchard Road. Like any no frills hotel, the bathroom is small, but it has all that you need in it. The room is quite big and there is a big window that gives you a view of the surroundings, which is really very nice when you stay for a some time in the room. Singapore's hotel prices are generally more expensive in comparison to other countries in Southeast Asia. But this hotel is considered cheap for the standard of service that it provides. The breakfast buffet needs to be improved. I will defintely, stay here when I get back to Singapore.

I highly recommend Orchard Parade because it is very close to the big malls, other restaurants, bars and other 5 star hotels in Orchard Road. The hotel has got complete line of restaurants since it has an italian, singaporean, steak and coffee shop (starbucks). The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They were the ones who gave us info on good restaurants and bars to visit. The rooms are medium sized and really clean. I will be staying in this same hotel the next time i come back in singapore.
