こちらは普通の観光案内所です。
また、上を通る高速鳴門のバス停のチケット売り場でもあり、バス停留所へは、スロッピーという無料のモノレールで行く事がてきます。
近くにスーパーなどのショピングモールもありました。

高速鳴門のバス停下にある待合/チケット売り場です。バス停留所へは、スロッピーという無料のモノレールで、楽ちんに行くことができます。大塚国際美術館に行く路線バスの時刻をお聞きすると、とても親切に教えて頂くことができました。ありがとうございました!!

鳴門駅近くに宿泊していたので付近を散策。海の方へ向かうと観光案内所を見つけたので立ち寄ってみました。付近の観光スポット、食事処、移動の方法など色々と教えてもらえて助かりました。

鳴門の渦潮や大塚国際美術館は広く知られていて両方見ようと思うのが普通だと思いますが両方見るのは難しいことになっています。車での観光なら問題ありません。交通機関を使って鳴門を観光しようとしたらたちまち問題が発生します。特に東京圏から観光する場合困ったことになります。徳島空港から鳴門行きのバスは大塚国際美術館経由の鳴門公園行きで渦潮観光船の出航する鳴門観光港へは行きません。鳴門公園と鳴門観光港には概ね３０分ごとにバスがあり乗り継ぎが必要です。鳴門観光港と鳴門公園の間にある大塚国際美術館至近のバス停の亀浦口は大塚国際美術館が最寄りであることを案内しないので分からず行き過ぎてしまい戻りました。致命的なのは徳島バスにはSUICA、PASMOが使えなくて小銭を用意しないといけないのです。観光に力を入れる気がなるのならSUICA、PASMOが使えるように助成ぐらいしろよ、と思います。こうしたことは来てみて初めて知りました。
鳴門市観光情報センターにはタクシーが常駐していますが徳島バスのバス停はここにはなく止まりません。少し離れた小鳴門橋にバス停があります。初めて観光する人にはどうやってこんなことを知り観光情報センターを使いこなせというのでしょう。大塚国際美術館や渦潮観光は良い思い出になりましたがアクセスにとても嫌な思いをしました。気の利いた観光地には漫画でPDFのマップを作って分かりやすく地域を紹介しています。鳴門にはマップの案内がなく来て初めて観光しにくい場所だと知りました。観光は日本国政府の成長戦略だと思っていましたが鳴門市では関係ないのでしょうか。

本州から高速バスを利用する場合、往路は鳴門観光の拠点「鳴門公園口」で降車できますが、復路は「鳴門公園」から「小鳴門橋」まで路線バスを利用し、「高速鳴門」まで約４~５分徒歩となります。この小鳴門橋バス停から高速鳴門バス停の途中約100m、徒歩で１分のところにこの情報センターがあります。ここはその存在場所から「鳴門市観光情報センター」というより、上り高速バスの案内所、券売所、待合室と言ったところだと思います。なぜなら鳴門市観光の拠点は大鳴門橋周辺で、鳴門市内にはさしてみるべきものがないからです。高速バス利用で本州への帰途は、時間が許せばこの近くの「小鳴門橋」「小鳴門海峡」を見物して、この情報センターは高速バスの到着時間までの待合室として利用することをお勧めします。コインロッカーやトイレも完備していますし、「高速鳴門」まで至便です。

JR西日本が問題、でもここの窓口スタッフも足りない。
12歳の子供学生証がないけど保険証でも年齢証明不可として大人料金をとるのはいかがなものか？12歳って日本では義務教育だよ。JRも腑抜けな者が多いって事。
ついでに現場で多くの客からこの様な声があっても 上に何も伝えられないマヌケな窓口。
今日はNHKのTV音量が爆音なので小さくしてくれと言っても、下げてくれない。
気が利かないスタッフをつかう。さすがJR西日本

高速バスのチケットカウンターを兼ねた施設となっており、寧ろ観光案内の方が間借りしているようでした。週末の朝に高速バスで到着した後に立寄ったのですが、そもそもバス利用者が僅かでそれもネット予約している人が多いようで折角の施設にも関わらず閑散としていました。

クレジットカードが使えないこと。この時代ありえない。今や鳴門は世界から観光客が来る時代なのにic決済はもちろんカード払いすらできないなんて不便すぎる。時代遅れすぎる。支払い現金のみの注意書きもなく当然のように。普通に困る。経営者管理者まじで頭悪い 時代遅れな考え方しかできない高齢者は現場から退いてほしい

高速バスを下車すると直ぐの場所に「すろっぴー」が停まっており、これに乗るとバスチケットセンターに到着しました。館内は観光案内所を兼ねており、周辺の観光パンフレット類の調達も可能でした。但し、高速バス利用者も激減しているようで折角の施設も閑散としていました。
