横浜開港150周年 たねまる記念碑
こちらは、2009年に横浜開港150周年記念碑として横浜港発祥の地・象の鼻パーク作られたものです。
公園のほぼ中央の少し高い位置にあり、開国博Y150マスコットキャラクター「たねまる」がなんとも可愛いです。
また、この地下には横浜開港200周年・2059年に開封される予定のタイムカプセルが埋まっているとの事です。

横浜開港150周年を祝して、平成21年に博覧会が開催された時のマスコットキャラクターです。芽が出た種の顔がかわいい。胴体は舟のデザイン。公園の小高い丘から横浜港を見ています。

象の鼻パークの中にある記念碑です。
開港150周年を記念して出来たようです。
御影石の表面に「たねまる」というキャラクターがデザインされています。
頭から双葉が出ているのがかわいいです。
でも、あまり見ている人はいなかったですね。

横浜港の開港１５０周年を記念して設置されており、この場所にタイムカプセルを埋めたんだそうです。場所は象の鼻パークの最深部で遊歩道の横ですが、柵があって遊歩道へは出られない構造です。はっきり言ってどうでもいいような記念碑であり、かつ設置場所が面倒なので見に行かない方がいいと感じました。

秋晴れの週末に赤レンガ倉庫を訪れた後、新港橋を渡って象の鼻パークに入りました。パーク入口の案合板によると、“象の鼻パークは横浜発祥の地であり、開港150周年を記念し整備された”と記されていました。
入口の前方には、なだらかな「開港の丘」があり、丘の上にこの記念碑が設置されていました
記念碑の付近からは、港の素晴らしい景観を見渡すことが出来ましたが、特に大桟橋に停泊している巨大な豪華客船の眺めは圧巻でした。

象の鼻パークの一角に石碑が残されています。横浜市民としてはあまり成功した記憶がない開国博Y150ですが、まさかこんなところで「たねまる」が残っていたとは。すっかり存在を忘れてしまっておりましたが、眺めの良い場所に設置してもらえて良かったと思います。

みなとみらい線日本大通り駅1番出口を出て徒歩5分、横浜税関から道路を挟んだ海側にあります。
横浜開港150周年を記念して2009(平成21)年に開催され大赤字を出して終了した開国博Y150のマスコットキャラクター「たねまる」を象っています。
