stuck at 34% when writing filmware (exit disabled mode without data loss)

Postby Judge_Not » Mon Jun 01, 2020 6:57 am

hi guys,

Our iPhone 6 Plus required iTunes to exit disabled mode as my kid pressed the wrong password many times.

As we like to do it without data loss (we didn’t backup), we tried to use 3utools but it is stuck at 34% when writing filmware.

Appreciate any help!

Thank you very much!

A disabled mode is a protection against people guessing your password and stealing your data. If your iPhone has been permanently disabled, then unfortunately iTunes is the only way. But if you still have a period of time to wait before the phone becomes usable again, then a reliable repair tool is the only other option besides iTunes. Considering you don't back up any data, you would better choose the third-party restore software like Tuneskit ios system recovery first. Although it cannot guarantee a 100% solution to your problem, it has a free trial available and it will at least preserve your phone data. And if it also fails to work, you may need to call Apple service for help.

Joyoshare iOS will delete your data.

To exit disabled mode you need an iOS system recovery software. You can use TunesKit iOS System Recovery. It has two modes: standard mode and advanced mode. When you use the standard mode, there will not cause any data loss. You can try it first. If this cannot work, I am afraid that you have to choose the advanced mode or use iTunes and accept your data loss.
