Looking to tighten timings for 3800 mhz @ 16-16-16-32, any suggestions?
Hi all, I'm new to RAM OCing and I'm looking for some advice so I can tighten some timings.
The RAM is a 3600 CL16 kit (F4-3600C16D-32GTZN) and I'm looking to push it as far as it can go.
Currently, the ram is overclocked to 3800mhz with timings of 16-16-16-16-32 @ 1.36 volts, stable.
My infinity fabric does not go past 1933 flck (or so I think, I did try OCing the ram to 3866 mhz @ cl16 + flck 1933 but experienced a bunch of WHEA errors) so I'm only looking to tighten the timings. How would I go about doing this? Also what would would be a safe voltage to run these sticks @ 24/7. 1.36v definitely seems like it’s on the lower end as i see people OC @ 1.4v.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Head over overclock.net and find the official ROG X570 Crosshair thread. Lots and lots of info for your board and memory settings.
Check that CLDO VDDP voltage, seems high
Thank you for the reply! I’ll check it out
SOC voltage probably slightly too slow, try 1.125V.
tWTRL should do 8.
Otherwise this is probably ideal.
Agreed. OP can still improve tCL and tCWL to 14 and try lowering tRCD(rd or wr cant remember) to 12-14. Finally tRFC to 260 min.
do you recommend a higher voltage for those tighter timings?
Up to vSoc 1.15 and vDimm 1.50 if theyre B-Die. Try to cool ram as well since they error out past 55c
Okay thanks! I’ll try it out when I’m home, will post results when done. Appreciate the help!
My kit is indeed a Samsung B-Die. I pushed it to 1.5v, and tightened up some of the timings. Tried these same timings with 1.45v and windows wouldn't boot.
Ran Memtest for an hour with these timings and no errors. Do you recommend any changes?

I can give you my stock setting for
g.skill 14cl 3800MHz if you want?
sure! could be useful to help me tighten some timings.
I'll post it tomorrow evening
awesome, thanks buddy! have a good night
Where
just an update before i go to bed.
i ended up removing that cl14 OC for now because i don't know if i want to be running my ram @ 1.5v 24/7, even if it is B-die, i've heard of sticks dying at that voltage. i'll look into cl14 more tomorrow.
i did fix some of the timings and voltages that were suggested in the comments, thank you to the people who helped me with that.
