2020: Every Column Ben Shapiro Wrote During an Insane Year

Rate this book
Ben Shapiro was a voice of sanity in the totally insane year of 2020. As he sees it, crises exacerbate underlying issues; they rarely create them. The global pandemic was the first in a catastrophic chain of crises that brought everything that’s wrong with America to a head. What began as a national emergency devolved into pandemic politics, with lockdowns as a cover for government power grabs. Following the George Floyd protests, Democrats began to manipulate charges of racism to achieve and maintain a hold on the country. When Joe Biden was elected, woke culture cried victory, but record-breaking millions of Trump voters proved that America still rejects demographics as destiny. This collection of syndicated columns from 2020 is for diehard Shapiro fans—and anyone who wants to talk some sense into America.

Not great. Some articles have errors. Some seem outright dishonest. There is repetition. The arguments advanced are often unconvincing and many columns have pointless non-sequiturs or jabs that detract from the point being made.
The columns are short so wasting space really matters.

The writing is clear and there were some more interesting columns like those on pages 23, 25, and 88 but those are the exception.
