How to Download BlueStacks

Downloading BlueStacks is a quick and easy process. The only thing you will need to remember is where you're storing the executable file once it has been downloaded. Just follow the steps below to download the program.

To download the BlueStacks Android emulator on Windows 10, first you need to open your favorite browser

In our case, it's Google Chrome; and we have it on the desktop. So let's double-click the browser to open it.

Now that our Google Chrome browser is open, we need to type in the name of the web site in the address field

We'll need to navigate to the top area of the browser and type text into the field indicated by the arrow.

The official web site for the application is http://www.BlueStacks.com, so we will type that into our address field

Once you've typed it in, press your 'Enter' or 'return' key.

When the web site opens, you will need to locate the download button

It's in the center in the lower section of the screen, and it reads 'Download BlueStacks 2'. Click the button to download BlueStacks.

A new web page will open, and your BlueStacks download will start automatically

If, for some reason, the download doesn't start automatically, you can click 'restart the download' to start downloading BlueStacks for Windows 10 again.

If you have set up Chrome so that it asks you where to save downloaded files, you will need to choose the directory for the installation file

In our case, this was our Windows 10 desktop. If you have a different location selected, choose the one that is most convenient for you and click 'Save'.

Wait for the download to finish, and you will have an executable file for BlueStacks

Install BlueStacks on Windows 10

Now that you have downloaded BlueStacks, it's time to get started with the installation process. The process of installing BlueStacks on Windows 10 is very straightforward, and it just requires a few clicks. Read on to learn how to install the software.

Now, you need to choose the BlueStacks data location

This is where BlueStacks will be installed. You can either use the default installation address, type the address manually, or click 'Browse' to choose the directory. In our case, we are using the default installation path. Once you've finished, click 'Next' to proceed.

On the next screen, you will see two boxes with check marks

These enable 'App store access' and 'Application Communications'. If you want to use BlueStacks to its full potential, you should leave both of these boxes ticked and then click 'Install'.

Now, you will need to wait for the installation process to finish

Note that the installation can take a couple of minutes; so, be patient while your installation of BlueStacks finishes.

When the installation has been finished, you can either leave the 'Start BlueStacks' box checked, which will launch BlueStacks, or you can uncheck it
