Yes it was lovely to see Elton trying to hold his trousers up at Glastonbury this year, but let’s be honest this is where the real action is. A youngish Elton whose career is about to lift off is on fire on this performance with just drums and bass to back him. Absolutely fantastic and the recording quality is very very good too.

Thank God this got reissued and with the extra tracks. The UK remastered cd was a disaster with some of Elton's vocals taken out and the horrible echo towards the end of Burn Down the Mission (best version ever) the sound on this is good enough for me. Love the old Elton John albums. He is the best and most successful British artist in history

Having heard multiple versions of the bootleg as well as the official UNI pressing, I can agree with others here that the remaster Bob Ludwig performed is top notch. Although there are some "modern" touches here and there it by no means diminishes the dynamics compared to the original and on some days I think it eclipses the 1970 release.

I felt the vinyl quality was OK in my case and didn't notice glaring issues. It's not to the level of audiophile pressings but each play through is reasonably noise free and unless you've been pegged with a bad copy one is likely not to notice issues.

Some may be disappointed by (yet again) another incorrect re-sequencing of the setlist as it actually appeared on the recording date, but given this is an official release that comprises the entire concert, I think its a must have for fans of this period. For purists, there's always the myriad of bootlegs recorded from the FM broadcast out there to consume.

I agree with the mastering and sound quality, but this is yet another crap pressing by GZ Media.

Fantastic performance and nice mastering, but absolutely horrible pressing quality. Really a missed opportunity.

Can we now please have a complete "Here and There" vinyl reissue?

I bought the original because GZ Media...ugh. Too hit and miss with them.

One of my absolute favourite albums, sound is so great! Elton doesn’t disappoint with his Vinyl Pressings I’m starting to learn.

I just love this record! Dynamite! Don't pass this up if you can get it. Sound quality is really great, and the extra tracks are well worth the effort in seeking this out.

I didn't know there was a free download with the LP until I read the comments here, there was nothing on the packaging... So I looked and found the paper with the code way down in the sleeve. Doesn't really matter however as the code doesn't seem to work, and to be honest it's no big deal, because I didn't buy the album to have a digital copy...
