Default Click'n'Load won't work

Hello,

I'm running the latest version of this program under windows xp, but I can't get click'n'load function to work. I tried everything listed here http://www.jdownloader.org/knowledge...y/click-n-load but it just wont work.

Can someone please do me a favour and convert a click'n'load-link into plaintext links? Send me a PM or reply in this thread.

To the previous poster:
Did you install Click'n'Load via the JDownloader settings menu? Does 127.0.0.1:9666/flash/ show the word "JDownloader" mentioned here?

I also have problems (same OS). JDownloader receives all Click'n'Load requests from Firefox (plugins: RefControl, NoScript, Adblock disabled), but which seems to be incomplete and aren't processed. Nothing happens when I click "Allow" in the appearing message box of JD.
The JDownloader log shows:
Code:
-----------------------External request---------------------
60 17.10.10 15:12:48 - WARNING [java_downloader] -> An external tool adds links to JDownloader. Request details:
60 17.10.10 15:12:48 - WARNING [java_downloader] -> {cache-control=no-cache, connection=keep-alive, accept-language=de-de,de;q=0.8,en-us;q=0.5,en;q=0.3, host=127.0.0.1:9666, accept=text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8, keep-alive=115, user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6, referer=**External links are only visible to Support Staff**60 17.10.10 15:12:48 - WARNING [java_downloader] -> {}
60 17.10.10 15:12:48 - WARNING [java_downloader] ->
-----------------------External request---------------------
This happens with all sites I tried, except one: share-links.biz where it is working properly (used by gwarez.cc)

http://wiki.jdownloader.org/knowledg.../glossary/cnl2
only the "Plain CNL2" example works here, the other not.

I tried to install via settings, but it said installation failed or something like that.

Nope, unfortunately not.

PS: I still need someone to convert a click'n'load-link to DLC or plaintext links. The link is hosted on linksave.in. I'm pretty sure that's a clean website. Anyone please?

1) Linksave.ln is not a clean website. It is a decrypter (it provides a shortened name for a link or collection of links).
2) If I remember correctly, if you enter a linksave URL into a browser, you are given the choice of downloading a DLC, CNL, and other options.
3) If you find a site that uses CNL (CNL2), view the source of the page. The CNL "code" is a <FORM> and usually includes some javascript. However, you can copy most of it and just change the URLs.
4) Your problem getting CNL to work on your copy of JD is probably because your security software is not allowing JD to listen on local port 9666. JD should be allowed to listen on all local ports.
5) For Windows, try enabling the Firefox interface.
6) If you still cannot use CNL on your copy of JD, upload a log.

I added port 9666 as exception in the firewall settings. It seems to work now.
I'm still curious why messages got through port 9666 before, but only halfway.

It's always a good idea to quote an error message when you request help. Search for the error message in Google before asking in a forum.
I suppose you don't have admin rights on your system.
This says:
Quote:
1. Start JDownloader with admin rights.
2. If it still does not work, close jd and execute JD_HOME/tmp/installcnl.reg

Make sure "JDExternInterface" is checked in JDownloader: Settings->plugin_&_addons->Extensions.
