Everybody needs another hit of that true-crime buzz – it's been a long while since Making a Murderer came to streaming – so we're intrigued to see that you can now watch The Act in the UK.
The show was originally only available on Hulu in the US, but all eight episodes have now made their way over to Amazon Prime for UK viewers.
Based on a real-life story, The Act follows Dee Dee (Patricia Arquette) and Gypsy Blanchard (Joey King), a mother and daughter who are caught up in a devastatingly toxic situation.
This story transforms from a teen drama into a terrifying murder case, as Gypsy tries to reconcile with an over-controlling, manipulative mother.
The entire season is available to buy on Amazon Prime Video, or you can buy individual episodes if you prefer.

The Act is one, long tug-of-war between mother and daughter that is both brutal and heart-wrenching.
Gypsy is a young, sick teen who appears to suffer from a number of illnesses – but it later transpires that her hypochondriac, doting mother Dee Dee is making up her daughter's illnesses to keep her captive in her own home.
Its twist and turns unravel the mystery of Dee Dee's own illnesses and problems, building up to a devastating ending.
In the real-life case, Gypsy Rose was charged with the second-degree murder of her mother Dee Dee following a plea deal. She was found guilty and is now serving a 10-year sentence in a Missouri prison.
Gypsy's boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn was found guilty of first-degree murder after a brief trial, and sentenced to life in prison in February 2019.
