12 Nights of Christmas

“12 Nights of Christmas” is the first holiday and fourteenth studio album by American R&B singer R. Kelly. The album was supposed to be released in late 2014, but was instead postponed to 2016. It was released on October 21, 2016, by RCA Records.

He’s been working on a Christmas album since at least 2013, according to an interview with Rap-Up:
“I don’t believe in just putting out a Christmas album just to sell records,” he said. “It has to be the next [‘This Christmas’]. In order to get that and capture that moment, you have to take a couple of Christmases and then you come with it.”
