Before I was allowed to enter the casino, a bouncer requested an ID or passport from me. They just needed to ensure that I was more than 21 years old. Okay, should I take that as a compliment? Hehe
Oh there was no specific dress-code to go in, so that was kind of cool.
For a first-timer, I found it very interesting to see the scene, like exactly in a movie (except no action/fighting scenes hehe). I did not even understand how to play as they were written in Chinese characters.

Now when the casinos in Macau are non-smoking, they are so much more pleasant to visit.
I play small stakes, Baccarat, which can be done at the terminals at Wynn, for as little as 50 HKD per bet. Bet on banker with commission give an house edge of 1.06%. You need to bet for 12 000 HKD, in my case 240 bet, to get 3 tier points according to Wynn's membership. My betting of 12K gives a mathematical loss of 127 HKD. With earning 3 points you get a free, although crappy meal, at Diamonds Club. You can also redeem 3 points the same day you earn the 3 points and get a dining (breakfast, supper, desserts) voucher. Thus, 2 meals per day. Also I used 1 point to get a bus ticket from Macau to Hong Kong Port, worth 65 HKD. So for my expected loss of 127 HKD/day I think I get back them in form of meals etc. Ad to that, you get free wines or soft drinks, coffe etc when you play.

The name 'pirate boat' was according to losers. We arrive at night and suddenly the whole lobby is overcrowded by us waiting to get into the elevator to our rooms. It took me about 20 minutes to my room (at last). Room was nice, spacy, clean. Bathroom have both shower and tub with mirror in the middle (so it is quite big). Clean towels. Breakfast was good (I like it 😊). Across the street there is a Seven Eleven nearby.
